As you may have guessed, I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my work. Ensuring that every stitch is perfect is just part of the job. But when it comes to logos, I needed something that could match the precision of my hand-stitching. That’s where my Blazex M3 10w laser comes in.
I’ll admit, when I first started looking into laser engravers, I was a bit overwhelmed. But the Blazex M3 has been a game-changer in the shop. It’s a 10w diode laser, which is the "sweet spot" for leather. If the laser is too powerful, it can char the leather or lose the fine details. If it's too weak, it just doesn't leave a lasting mark.
With the M3, I can get incredibly crisp lines. I usually set the power to about 20-30% and keep the speed around 2500 mm/min. This allows the laser to gently etch the surface of the leather, creating a dark, permanent mark without damaging the structural integrity of the hide. It’s a slow, deliberate process, one step at a time, but the results are honestly stunning.

How to Get Started with Your Logo
I’ve tried to make the process as simple as possible, so you can spend less time on logistics and more time on your business. Here is how it works:

- Upload Your Logo: When you place your order, there is an option to upload your file. For the best results, I recommend a high-resolution black-and-white image (like a PNG or a vector file).
- Review the Proof: I’ll send you a digital mockup of what the engraving will look like on your specific leather choice. I want to make sure you love it before the laser even touches the hide.
- Hand-Stitched and Engraved: Once you approve, I get to work. I’ll engrave the leather first, then hand-stitch the padfolio together, ensuring every piece meets our standards for durability and style.
Beyond the Padfolio
While the Mini Padfolios are a favorite for client gifts, they aren't the only option. We can engrave logos on almost anything we make.
