Pull-up leather is infused with oils and waxes during the tanning process. The Traveler measures in at 6 x 4.75 x 2.5 inches. To me, this is the "Goldilocks" size. It’s large enough to hold your phone, a minimalist leather wallet, your keys, and maybe a small field notebook. But it’s small enough that it doesn't feel like you’re carrying a heavy satchel on your hip.
I’ve equipped it with a secure buckle and strap closure, and I went with a gun metal buckle—it’s got that tough, no-nonsense look you can see in the photos. I know magnetic snaps are popular these days because they’re "fast," but when you’re out on an adventure, "fast" isn't as important as "secure." There’s a certain peace of mind that comes with knowing your buckle is cinched down.
